Disney Cars 3rd Birthday Party

My son is a huge Cars fanatic so it was a no brainer to have this as his
theme for his 3rd birthday. I will try to explain everything I did for his party
because I know some blogs will post the pictures but don't really explain what
they did exactly. First and foremost, I'm a Graphic Designer so that will
pretty much explain a lot of the things I did for this party.

I'm going to start of with the party invitations I designed
below using Photoshop. I did the invitations 3 different times
until I was satisfied with the outcome. As you can see, I create my son's
own personal Cars logo that you will see used in various photos.
I wanted this Disney Cars theme party to be personal and creative throughout.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

Instead of creating the normal dessert/candy table using just gumballs and etc.
I wanted to use candy that was already boxed and just redesigned the packaging
using full label sheets to re-wrap them.

I didn't want play any games during the party so I decided
to create blank Disney Cars themed license plates for kids to create their own.
Again, I designed everything in Photoshop and used full label paper.
I got these cute little white license plate from the Etsy website.

I did not want to use the same boring plastic party bags so I came up with the
idea to get tool boxes instead and customized them. It took weeks to find these at a decent price
and the color that I wanted as well. I found these boxes on sale at Lowes for $3.99
each and that was the cheapest I was going to find considering that I had to make
12 of these toolboxes. I measured the front of the box, designed the labels
and printed them on full label paper, and cut to fit.

Here are the VIP Passes I created for all the guest.
I got lucky and found the passes at the Dollar Tree and
I just designed the passes and inserted them into the blank passes.

You always see custom Hershey labels but I wanted to personalize it
while keeping the word Hershey's visible. Hershey changed the way they
package their candy so I wrapped the prepacked candy in aluminum
foil then wrap the labels around it to give it that old time affect of how they use
to look, besides it looks a lot better that way.

Below are more pictures of the party....

Here are the custom water bottles I did and the tool box favors in the background

The labeling I did for each table for decor as well as letting people know
what it is.

The party favor table.....

Some of the tables had a road that was actually black cabinet liner
I got from Lowe with yellow duct tape to resemble a race track.

Balloon centerpieces

Refuel Station....
I custom designed engine fluid labels to go on each drink
according to the actual color the fluid itself and I threw in some elements
from the movie such as Rusteez and Donoco.

I have planned this party for months and even though it didn't come out exactly how I wanted it, it was still absolutely beautiful. I wanted me daughter's first birthday to be very memorable and I wanted it to be fit for a princess. This Royal Princess theme party was beautiful and I did a lot of custom designs for the dessert table.
